EA has released the latest trailer for Need for Speed Most Wanted and this one gives us an overview of the game's competitive multiplayer.
While it's still a racing game at its core, Most Wanted introduces "challenges" like drifting, crashing and more to spice up the series' multiplayer. You can even work in tandem with other speedsters to take down enemies to earn more points. Speaking of points, everything you do in the game will earn you "Speed Points." These can then be used for new cars, mods, paint jobs and licenses.
Interestingly enough, the "license plate" mechanic seems to work like Battlefield 3's dog tag system. You can earn more license plates by completing challenges such as: driving and using ramps to go up a building's roof, landing on "top" of someone and crashing them and more.
If shooting your online foes isn't your cup of tea, then Need for Speed Most Wanted might be a solid alternative when it ships on October 30 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
