With all of the Sega Fighting game rumors floating around, this has been an eventful week for fans of the fighter. Capcom finally unveiled their release information for the hit series Darkstalkers.
In early 2013 for 14.99 on Playstation Network and 1200 points on Xbox Live Arcade, gamers will be able to purchase 2 Darkstalkers games in one package: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3.
In addition to the upgraded graphics and various single-player modes that can be expected with a Capcom fighter, Darkstalkers fans can also challenge each other in online matches, spectate online matches, and automatically upload matches to Youtube or to a match server where players can watch as a group or on their own.
From the screenshots, we can see all of the old crowd favorites like Morrigan, Sasquatch, and Anakaris but we also notice that the game seems to be emulating standing in front of an arcade cabinet in the challenge modes. It will be interesting to see how all of that works.
With Halloween right around the corner, it is a shame that Capcom missed the boat to offer this monster mash to fans at a time it would have been especially welcome.
