Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Naruto Storm 3, showcasing Rinnegan Tobi, Zetsu, Snake Costume Kabuto, the 7 Swordsmen, Haku, the Jinchiki, and Five Kage in a cutscene. Whether these characters will be playable in the final game is yet to be confirmed.
CyberConnect2 has mentioned in the past that the upcoming game will feature an evoloved combat system with Boss battles making a return and players will be allowed to go into awakening mode during the battle or in the middle of a combo. A better story mode might also be in the offing with a return of missions in Konoha and "hack and slash" battles promised.
Naruto Storm 3 starts with a flashback from the end of the Third Shinobi World War, twelve years before the start of the series and is said to offer a "more profound" story and a combat system aimed to further the game's evolution rather than a complete revamp of the whole thing. Similar to Ultimate Ninja Impact, the game story mode will also feature "hack and slash" battles for you to play through.
