While it's mostly common knowledge by now that pre-ordering Black Ops 2 will get you the "re-imagined" Nuketown — Nuketown 2025, Activision has announced that they're adding one more incentive for those choosing Black Ops 2 as their multiplayer shooter later this year.
The publisher has announced on the official Call of Duty website that pre-order buyers will also earn double XP during its launch weekend from November 16, up to November 18.
This might not be that big of a deal to most people, but seeing as Call of Duty's multiplayer is highly-competitive and each emblem is a sign that someone is more "l33t" than you, then earning double the XP during the weekend will make you reach that first Prestige faster.
Currently, the promotion is slated for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3; but it's currently not known if the Wii U version of Black Ops 2 will employ a similar deal. We'll keep you posted once anything more concrete pops up.
Black Ops is scheduled to hit on November 13 on the PC, Xbox 360 and the PS3, while the Wii U version is expected to ship within the console's launch.
