Just a few hours ago, we reported on Assassin's Creed 3 joining the "season pass" club. Now, we have news on what some of DLCs will be about and they seem fantastic.
Dubbed "The Tyranny of King Washington," it will feature America's hero, George Washington, in a role he's never been cast as before — a villain.
Here's what Ubisoft blurb on the DLC:
As the revolution comes to a close in 1783, driven by the desire to ensure the safety of the colonies, the Revolution’s greatest hero, George Washington succumbs to the temptation of the Apple of Eden and a new King is born.
Yep, sounds like Connor might have to slit Washington's throat at some point, no? Also of note, Ubisoft has now detailed the season pass for Assassin's Creed 3. It will contain five expansions, which are slated for release within six months after launch. Among these five, three of 'em will be for The Tyranny of King Washington expansion; which, I guess means this will be one meaty affair.
Here's your first look at King George.
Yep, it will be an alternate take on American History — but one that sounds very intriguing.
Currently, the DLC has no specific release date or standalone price but Assassin's Creed 3's season pass will cost $29.99 or 2400 Microsoft Points.
Is this enough to entice you to get a season pass? Which historical figure should they "re-imagine" next?
