Endless Space Sees the Rise of the Automatons

October 2, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

Endless Space gets extended with the release of a new DLC.

Endless Space

Endless Space will be getting a little more endless with the release of a new DLC titled Rise of the Automatons, which hits Steam today.

Developed and released for free by Iceberg Interactive and Amplitude Studios, the new DLC will add a host of new content to the game, including the following:

  • Addition of the new Automatons custom faction (thanks to the community hero ‘Panzer‘).
  • GUI changes such as a new Trade Route panel and Empire Management screen.
  • Upgraded and updated diplomacy and alliance options.
  • Improved hero management.
  • Improved AI.
  • Fixes, amendments and changes.

If you’ve an existing game running, you’ll have to finish it before installing the DLC as the changes introduced in the expansion are not compatible with preexisting saves.

Be sure to check out our review of Endless Space if you haven’t already.
