BioWare is a well-known name as the development team has brought out several critical acclaimed RPG series into the market. While the studio is prepping to release Mass Effect: Andromeda, another title to release afterward is in full swing.
In the past, EA CEO Andrew Wilson had confirmed that BioWare is working on another IP that will release after Mass Effect: Andromeda. While not much information was released regarding this mysterious title, the EA CEO did reveal that the upcoming IP will not be an RPG but instead will be aimed at a more action-adventure style gameplay.
Although we may not see an RPG title for BioWare’s next IP, we can still expect the in-depth narrative and character progression that the famed development studio is known for.
Today, a new statement was made by EA CFO Blake Jorgensen regarding the upcoming BioWare title, according to a report made by Gamespot. Again, similar to the past statement made by EA CEO Andrew Wilson, don’t expect too many details. With that said, Blake Jorgensen did state that the upcoming title would be more sci-fi related.
There’s a big focus on the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda so it’s not surprising details are being kept from the public as to regards of BioWare’s next IP. Although there is a good chance we may finally hear more about this new title during this year’s E3 event.
