TGS is in full swing now and with it comes an onslaught of new news and content. This includes a new Devil May Cry trailer, posted above. Unlike previous trailers, this one focuses vaguely on the story, but that also means we have to hear what is kind of bad-sounding voice acting. Sigh, what else is new I guess.
At least the metal music is awesome (I mean, EXTREEEEME – listen to that screamo.) I hope there's a soundtrack for purchase–stopping the snark for a second, it really does fit the game well. I can see myself getting in the zone to the DmC music revealed thus far.
They drop some major truthbombs on us in here too. Like, there's always been angels and demons. And that the dude's name is Dante. In case you didn't know that–because it's important.
Less silly is what seems to be the context for this game, as explained by Dante himself. Something about the offspring of demons and angels…being siblings…that sort of thing. And of course we see plenty of the fast-paced, frantic gameplay that series is known for. I for one am looking forward to 2013, because that's when this game drops. As in, when I can kick some demon ass.
