Aliens: Colonial Marines Pre-Order Trailer Wants You to Follow in the Footsteps of Legends

September 13, 2012 by Alex Co

SEGA has released a new trailer for Aliens: Colonial Marines and it shows familiar film characters.

SEGA has released a new pre-order trailer for Gearbox's Aliens: Colonial Marines. While the trailer itself is light on gameplay, we do get to see some of the most iconic characters in the Alien universe. Characters such as: Private Drake, Pvt Hudson, Sergeant Apone and of course, Corporal Hicks make an appearance.

If the trailer doesn't make it clear enough, yes. You will be able to use these characters skins if you pre-order the game. In addition to the skins, you will also be given Ripley's flamethrower as another pre-order perk. Give it a watch below to see everything in action.

While the skins for the notable characters are shown, let's hope their familiar dialogue is in it, too, no? I'd love to hear Apone's speech whenever we win — though that could get repetitive, I admit.

What's odd here is why they don't offer Ripley herself as a playable skin? Unless Sigourney Weaver's likeness is too expensive? That would explain it.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is set for release on February 12, 2013 on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and the Wii U.
