Microtransactions can be a touchy subject as developers can at times implement the aspect into their video games rather well while some development projects seem to gain as much money out of gamers as possible. For the most part, it’s nice seeing video game titles release into the market giving players an even playground to go through by not allowing any additional help for an extra fee. Horizon Zero Dawn will be one of those video game titles where gamers won’t see any micro-transactions available for purchase.
Horizon Zero Dawn is shaping up rather well as it seems that gamers will be able to explore a wide open world, tackle down a variety of enemies, and craft items. All of these elements will be relied on players to go through on their own as the development studio, Guerrilla Games has confirmed that their upcoming IP release will not have any microtransactions.
The news came through Twitter when one user, Roderick, reached out to the development studio directly asking if the upcoming video game release will have any microtransactions, where the developers confirmed the title will not contain them.

As for the video game itself, players will be following Aloy, a hunter and archer who lives within the world that’s become overrun by robots. The action role-playing video game title will be releasing exclusively for the PlayStation 4 starting on February 28, 2017. Earlier this month, a new trailer was released showing off more of the upcoming video game narrative along with new threats that players may come across.
