Ubisoft has just announced the dates for the upcoming closed beta of For Honor, the medieval flavoured hack ‘n’ slash game whose inspirations lie in the art of combat. From this January 26-29, the curtains will officially be drawn, inviting registered players on PC and current generation consoles to take part. There are three allegiances to select from: Samurai, Knights and Vikings.
Additionally, a limited time event called War of the Factions will launch alongside the closed beta. The event is designed to ascertain the true master of the battlefield amongst the three different clans. War of the Factions tracks all multiplayer activities from players across the three platforms, rewarding players for their efforts as well as emerging victorious. Any progress made in the event will be transferred to the game upon full release.
Just over a month remains before the final version of For Honor becomes publicly available, but testers have reported certain issues with the game’s matchmaking system. Interested players can pre-order For Honor here.
