As we reported earlier today, 343 Industries has released—through its weekly bulletin—the full list of achievements in Halo 4, including descriptions, point values and unlock details for each achievement. You can read the entire list of achievements here.
With that out of the way, we’d like to cover some of the more interesting facets revealed in the achievements list.
First up is the confirmation that Covenant Hunters are among the enemies that Master Chief will face in the upcoming game. The “Explore the Floor” achievement requires players to “trick or force a Hunter to fall to his demise” in Mission 6. Likewise, in Mission 6, the “Give Him the Stick” achievement can be attained by killing two hunters using only the Sticky Detonator.
So hey, there’s that. It looks like Master Chief will be facing down some members of the Covenant after all. It’ll be interesting to see how all of this plays with the introduction of the new Promethean enemies and what the role of the Covenant will be in the new setting.
