2K Sorts has been lording over the videogame basketball scene with its spectacular NBA 2K series over the years and if this gameplay footage from EA's NBA LIVE '13 is anything to go by, that won't be changing anytime soon.
Now, I know this surely doesn't represent final gameplay, but unless EA has a magic hat it can pull rabbits out of, NBA LIVE '13 will look close to this in its final state since its release is but a few months away.

I don't want to pile on here, but it definitely looks like a poor man's version of NBA 2K, no? Not that I'm talking out of my ass here either, as I'm a huge NBA and basketball videogame fan and it's a shame to see the NBA LIVE franchise reduced to this.
Here's to hoping EA can somehow salvage the game and make it compete with the NBA 2K franchise at the very least.
