Just this week, promo material for Red Dead Redemption 2 started going out, with a confirmation right on the box that the game will, in fact, release in 2017.
Unfortunately, there isn’t much else that can be deduced from looking at this image. We see the familiar image of the cowboy silhouettes against a setting sun. Fans have examined the image tpo try and gather details, but other than the date, everything else is merely speculation.
The date reads Autumn 2017, and prices in pounds are displayed on the stickers on the games, so it is a UK-based location where this promotion was discovered.
It is a solid fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be releasing this year, assuming that there are no delays. Rockstar is known for taking its time with projects and it is very rare that studios sticks to its first release date that it announces.
Gamers have not seen as much of Red Dead Redemption 2 as they would like, however. It does say a lot that an image like this would receive so much attention, but there is not much else, if anything, that has been divulged by the developer so far.
