If you’re a fan of the Resident Evil series and love your collector’s editions of games, we have great news for you. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is getting a fascinatingly macabre Collector’s Edition through GameStop. It absolutely would not be complete without some creepy accouterments.
The main staple of this $180 set is an 8-inch tall, beautifully detailed Mansion Music Box that plays a sample of the game’s theme song, “Aunt Rhody.” There are even some cool LED effects that sync up with the music for an added spooky effect.
The premium bundle also comes with a pretty gruesome 4 GB USB drive in the shape of a dummy finger. Also included is a lithograph which features the Baker family and a “creepy note” from them to you. Rounding out the bundle is a VHS tape box that your USB drive “finger” comes in, and a copy of the game in a metal case.
The packaging completes the atmosphere, featuring a silhouette of a person staring out of one of the house’s windows, simply terrifying! This bundle was put together by Project Triforce, which has created numerous video game products for franchises like Halo, Mass Effect, Battlefield, and many others.
The Resident Evil 7 collector’s edition is listed for PS4 and Xbox One, but not PC and goes on sale on January 24th 2017 alongside the Standard Edition.
