LEGO sets containing over a thousand pieces are always fantastic. Case in point, this Lego Portal gun, clocking in at a little over 2000 pieces. The gun is a stunning recreation of the original Chell wields, with movable prongs and alternating blue and orange lights. The gun took a few weeks to construct, but was in the planning stages for over a year.
The video shows off some of the more technical aspects involved in the creation of the replica, as Ted describes his labor of love. We can only hope that a Portal Lego set is in the near future for the block conglomerate.
In my mind, when activated, the hard-edged portals will send you into an alternate direction where everything looks Minecraft-ian. At least that's the excuse I'll tell the cops as I jump from car to car, attempting to explain why I crashed through a store window.
