Mists of Pandaria Adds Flippable Tables

June 22, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

Flip a table in World of Warcraft. You can do that now.

The origin of the table flipping meme is debatable. Some might say it comes from the Bible, in which Jesus flipped tables at the temple, proving that violence is acceptable as long as it’s done in the pursuit of righteousness. Others might say the meme comes from a Japanese arcade game, which allows you to flip a table for points. I’m going to stop with the faux explanations now.

Regardless of its origins, flipping tables is a great way to blow off steam. Players who level up their Cooking in World of Warcraft’s next expansion, Mists of Pandaria, can purchase a novelty table using a token from daily Cooking quests—and flip it over.
