Ever thought about breaking into the voice acting industry or if you’ve been seeking out bigger roles? If so then this new contest by BioWare may interest you. The development team behind some of the biggest RPG titles has announced a new contest that will offer a role in the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda video game.
There’s not much known about the upcoming video game installment for the Mass Effect franchise, however, one voice actor may win a role within the game. BioWare has been actively working on the next big space adventure known as Mass Effect: Andromeda and now the developers are seeking a voice actor to breathe new life into an unknown character.
The contest is open now and will end on September 28, 2016. For those interested in sending in a VO demo then there are two optional scripts to choose from. One of the scripts has the voice actor portraying Jordan Tate interviewing Mass Effect: Andromeda’s protagonist Ryder while the second is a conversation between two mercenaries.
BioWare makes it clear that there is no need to include any accents, makeup, costumes, or props. All you need to do is go through the script in your natural voice though you are free to make a more dramatic tone. The winner of the contest will get a free trip to the recording studio in order to voice a character within the final game.
As for Mass Effect: Andromeda, the game is set to launch next year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
