Nintendo, a household name for the video game industry, might not have had the amount of success they were looking for when they released their previously flagship console, the Wii U. However, with their upcoming console, code named the Nintendo NX, their luck may soon change.
Unfortunately, Nintendo has been very much tight lipped when it comes to features and news surrounding the upcoming console. That, however, hasn’t stopped a slew of supposed leaks and rumors from surfacing online.
The latest rumors come from supposed sources of Let’s Play Video Games. This publication notes that they were alerted by sources of details regarding the Nintendo NX console controller. Apparently, the controller will have a split D-pad which will apparently be easier to use for both mobile and console use.
Even more interesting is that the controller will have a dedicated share button similar to the PlayStation 4 DualShock 4 controller. In the past, Nintendo has been rather harsh when it comes to gamers sharing content online that was taken from software released for the Nintendo owned console.
Since the source claims that the share button will allow gamers to post videos and pictures to Miiverse, Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube, this could be a slight indication that Nintendo will allow their video game start being online.
Again, these are merely rumors as we’ll have to wait until the official Nintendo announcement of the NX for the legitimate console details. With the console set to launch March of next year, the Nintendo company will likely show off the console sooner than later.
