You may recall Microsoft’s announcement of custom Xbox One controllers. This new featured service is being offered for gamers in whom they are able to fully customize their own Xbox One controller to stand out compared to the official standard controllers for the system.
This service would allow gamers to customize just about every aesthetic aspect to the Xbox One controller. For instance, the entire color for the Xbox One controller can be changed to your particular liking along with the bumpers, triggers, D-pad, thumbsticks, ABXY buttons, menu, and view buttons.
All-in-all, Microsoft has stated that there are over eight million color combinations to go with and gamers can even have a controller personalized with their name, saying, or Gamertag, just as long as it doesn’t exceed over sixteen characters in length.
Today, Microsoft has officially announced through the Xbox Wire, that the first custom controllers made so far are beginning to ship. Likewise, if you customize a controller right now then you will only have to wait for a total of fourteen business days before your handmade controller ships.
Unfortunately, the service is only available in a few select markets right now. You can customize and order your Xbox One controller if you reside within the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico. With that said, Microsoft will be spreading the service to other markets next year, 2017.
