The infamous “Error 37” which plagued Diablo III users upon the game’s launch just two weeks ago has struck again. While it is obviously a good thing that players are still finding replay value in the game, it has brought on a whole new host of issues with which Blizzard will inevitably have to contend with.
"Login is currently being impacted by the number of players that are coming online after they downloaded the patch and accepted the Terms of Use. Sadly, the additional steps required to patch and log in to the game is creating a lot of the 'Error 37' prompts for players,” is what a community manager had to say.
"We're currently working on a fix for this and are looking to have it implemented as soon as possible; we hope to have future patching processes smoothed out for Diablo 3."
It’s also been reported that because of these issues, players are claiming that the game has killed off their players in what Diablo III calls “Hardcore Mode.” In this type of gameplay, your character does not come back once killed, hence the complaints.
Could it be that players are just using this as a way to get their characters back? Comment below and give us your opinion on the situation!
