MMOs tend not to get attention for their graphical prowess. That's because, generally, the genre doesn't have any graphical prowess. The visuals are good enough to be passable, to run on the majority of systems whilst looking decent, but are usually not anything to write home about. It's to be expected in a genre entirely built around the amount of people you can get playing for the longest time.
In recent months we've seen a set of releases that buck this trend, games like TERA and the upcoming The Secret World (which has been in beta and looks fantastic) so it would seem that things are coming to a turn. With the announcement of God Slayer, an MMO built in the Crytek 3 engine; it looks like things are only going to be getting better.
Not much else has been announced about the game, so as of now all we can say is that it looks pretty fantastic. That won't be enough to make it a success.
