There's no shortage of third person shooters this year, and Spec Ops: The Line is set to enter the fray on June 29 this year for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Bearing that the release is still a ways off, 2KGames has put out a demo for the title on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 today. The demo weighs 1.45GB and requires a Gold subscription if you're on the Xbox 360.
Spec Ops: The Line casts you in the role of Captain Martin Walker, leader of a Delta Force recon team sent into the depths of Dubai to find a missing commander, six months after a cataclysmic event has reduced the city into rubble. Walker is voiced by Nolan North.
Walker and the rest of his team find themselves embroiled in a civil war between the city's survivors and rogue military forces. The story is said to be inspired by Joseph Conrad's seminal work, Heart of Darkness.
