We may have more confirmation of a new upcoming hero for Overwatch. The news came via a tweet from the official Twitter.

The speculation is that the mysterious and elusive “Sombra” is a Healing Sniper class, equipped with a gun that allows you to heal characters from far away. The picture itself details a discussion of the weapon, with two Overwatch heroes debating the ethics of implementing such technology in the field.
An earlier NeoGAF thread back in May revealed various hints and clues in Overwatch media and coverage, that hinted at the existence of this hero. These efforts appeared to have been vindicated during a Eurogamer interview with Jeff Kaplan, where he confirmed the existence of this figure.
We have put a lot of hints, all over the game and out of the game, so I would say it’s about time that people are concerned with who Sombra is. I hope they keep researching more and find more hints that are out there.
It looks like we can expect a reveal of Sombra sometime in the future.
