Not so long ago, a Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 logo was purportedly discovered on the official Call of Duty website. It was evidenced on the site's official forum by members but the thread was removed by publisher Activision, as well as the inevitable take down of the image and the URL where it was found. However, it seems something more solid regarding the existence and possible reveal date for the sequel to the upcoming shooter has emerged.
According to Kotaku, a retail source apparently retrieved the image via a poster, as showcased above. On it, it displays a message stating "Return For Debriefing", and a May 5th date accompanying it, which inevitably hints at the possible reveal date of the unannounced sequel.
The original Call of Duty: Black Ops sold over 25 million units on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 since its 2010 release. Treyarch are expected to return to the development helm with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
