A new update has rolled out for the Sony PlayStation 4 console and since Sony didn’t advertise or make any big announcements, don’t expect to see any big features. The update is currently rolling out now and it will require just 300 MBs which ultimately mean you won’t have too long before you’re able to jump online and enjoy playing video games once again.
Normally when a bigger update rolls out for a console like the PlayStation 4, Sony advertises it to further hype up the system. These updates oftentimes include a notable feature or service, but from time-to-time, Sony will toss out an update that will further improve the overall console performance.
Officially, the update notes state the following for the PlayStation 4 3.55.
“This system software update improves the quality of the system performance.”
