It seems that people are starting to jump on the HTML5 bandwagon and making browser based games. Mozilla, the people who bring you Mozilla Firefox, has released a browser based HTML5 game titled “BrowserQuest”. Yes, it's called BrowserQuest dear readers. This game is also brought to you by Little Workshop, creators of Spark for Mozilla.
BrowswerQuest, a “Massively Multiplayer Adventure, is a homage to the classic 8 bit/16 bit video games of the days of old. You play as an adventurer who just goes around adventuring, how great is that? Apparently there aren't any princesses to save either. That's a plus in my book, those princesses never seem to be where I want them to be. Also, the game has MMORPG aspects like being able to play the game with other players and chat with them as well.
Being an HTML 5 game, you can play this game on any browser, on iOS devices, and even Android (if you have the Firefox for Android app). I tried to take a look at the game on my Kindle Fire but no dice. Firefox for Android does not seem to be available for the Kindle Fire unfortunately.
