Graphics artist Dustin Lincoln has cobbled together illustrations of four well known Nintendo characters from two of its most beloved series—Mario and the Legend of Zelda. And by "cobbled together" I mean "painted the hell out of."
Not content to simply draw the characters as they are, Dustin's artwork shows us what Mario, Princess Peach, Zelda, and Link would look like if they were undead and hungry for your the taste of brains.
They're a little bit terrifying and more than a little awesome. You wouldn't want to be caught in a dark alley with Zombie Mario lurking in the shadows, his eyes aglow and his mouth agape murmuring sounds that would keep you awake at night.
