It’s come to light that the latest patch to Grand Theft Auto Online still hasn’t fixed all the issues.

Harryodini588 shared this warning a few hours ago on Twitter:
BE CAREFUL WITH THE MANSION GARAGE!!
The bugs within losing vehicle upgrades / mods in the Mansion Garage may still be active according to an trustworthy answer below my post about yesterday’s patch notes of the also yesterday released #GTAOnline Update.
Harryodini588 linked to German speaking YouTuber WorldsFinestGamer. He revealed that his FMJ MK V lost his customizations from Hao’s System Works. Subsequently, he also lost the customizations on his Itali Custom.
Is This Really A Game-Breaking Bug?
Based on the information the community has been collecting, the bug has some really nasty effects for Grand Theft Auto Online players. What WorldsFinestGamer described is only part of what the bug can do.
As we reported yesterday, some players have been losing their actual vehicles, as well as career progress, in-game trophies/awards, and even their GTA$.
Why Is The FMJ MK V A Big Deal?
Now, you may have noticed a lot of buzz around the FMJ MK V, but not really understand why. What’s so special about this car?
Grand Theft Auto Online’s vehicles are based on real life, and with this luxury motorsports car, Rockstar went the extra mile.
The base FMJ is itself based on a Ford GT. The FMJ MK V is, in turn, based on the Ford GT Mk IV, a rare special edition of the car that was only used in in professional racing.
While the real life Ford GT Mk IV was priced at $ 1.7 million, the FMJ MK V costs GTA$ 2,965,000. Its customization options can also go through the roof in using up all your GTA$.
But right now, the FMJ MK V is free for GTA+ members. So Rockstar made this car extra special for their subscribers.
And that’s why it can be extra irritating that this bug has come up while GTA+ players are supposed to get this reward.
What Does The Patch Notes Say?
The patch notes did say that they fixed the bug with players losing their vehicle customizations, but they would have to buy and reapply those customizations.
The title update also addresses issues with in-game awards, which came from an integer overflow issue.
But Rockstar’s promises do not seem to have applied to all players. Rockstar may need to push more shadow updates or title updates to fix all these issues in the coming days. For now, consider this a fair warning to players before they log back in to their accounts to play at earning their mansions and the KnoWay Out missions.
