Bethesda’s latest DLC for their Fallout 4 video game, Far Harbor, released just last week and already there have been reports of performance issues. Today, through a blog post on Bethesda’s official forums, we’re learning that the development team is fully aware of these issues and are currently working on a fix.
Far Harbor is the third add-on for Fallout 4 which released for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on May 19, 2016. The DLC centers on an island where players will search for a young woman along with a colony of synths. Since this new DLC has released, a few gamers have noticed a number of performance problems that is causing some problems when going through the game.
For the most part, the issues that gamers are facing during gameplay with the Far Harbor are FPS dips while simply walking about the landmasses. While not directly detailing the issues that the development team is working on, the forum post makes mention that the current DLC build available is based on the feedback from beta players.
“We made optimizations based on the Far Harbor beta feedback, but understand some people are experiencing issues. We are actively working on more improvements. As we have news and information, we’ll update this post. Thank you for playing Fallout 4.”
For now, we’ll have to wait until the post is updated in order to see just what sections of the DLC are being worked on. Are you experiencing any issues within Far Harbor? Let us know by leaving a comment down below.
