Adhesive Games has put out a new trailer for their free-to-play mech combat FPS, Hawken. This stellar looking game puts players in the cockpit of a fast fighting battlemech as war rages on in a futuristic cityscape.
Described as a mech-based first-person shooter, the game takes place on a post-apocalyptic planet industrialized to the point of collapse. Human survivors hunt for resources in a battle for survival. Players can participate in team deathmatch, free-for-all, a "siege" mode, and a co-op "Horde"-style mode. Players can choose from three different types of mechs: light, heavy, and all-rounders.
Adhesive Games plans to launch the game with eight large maps and provide players with additional downloadable content after the game's release.
Hawken is up for Beta testing in the coming months. Interested players can sign up on the game's official website.
