Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima revealed on Twitter just now a tantalizing look at a new development at the company, unveiling what looks like the 3D-printed figurine of a mechanized demon. The figurine is purported to be the protagonist of a game dubbed "Project Ogre" currently in development at Kojima Productions.

The game was dubbed "Project Ogre" last year by the Official PlayStation Magazine UK, which had little to reveal about the game at the time. Kojima described the game as an open-world, rather than a 'cinematic' experience like the Metal Gear Solid series. With the new game, Kojima said that he wants players to be able to freely explore the world at their whim, instead of following a linear, cinematic story.
