Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 was a hit, which finally led Activision to bring out another remake. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4, despite being reportedly passed on in the past, was put in development. Now the game is heading out this summer, and fans noticed the glaring omission. It looked like the game would be released without including Bam Margera. This had fans speculating that the missing mention of the professional skateboarder was not a mistake and was due to some of the controversies surrounding Bam.
It wouldn’t be surprising to learn that was the reason. In this article, we won’t discuss the controversies surrounding Bam. However, the missing mention of Bam as being a playable character left quite a few fans bummed out. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 was the first installment that Bam was featured in. We’re discovering this character’s skin might be added to the game thanks to VGC.
According to VGC, which stated the news came from a recent podcast on The Live Club, Bam was added to the game after it was finished. This was reportedly because Tony Hawk noticed that Bam was missing from the various skaters flown to Activision to be scanned. Once Tony found this out, it was said that he called up Activision.
At the time, Activision told Tony no, as the game was already finished. However, Tony demanded that the studio fly Bam out to get scanned and added to the game. So that’s apparently what happened despite no official comments being released on Bam’s addition to the game.
Tony Hawk Pro 3+4 is not set to launch until July 11, 2025. So, we might hear some official news on adding Bam in the coming months. When this game launches into the marketplace, it will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms.
