Rockstar Games Trying To Win Some GTA Online Players Back With $3M

March 19, 2025 by Dennis Patrick

There are a few steps you’ll have to go through first.

You are probably waiting for Rockstar Games to bring out the next installment. For years, we were stuck on Grand Theft Auto V and its online counterpart, GTA Online. However, we know that Grand Theft Auto 6 is in the works. But Rockstar Games hopes to lure some players back to GTA Online before we get that installment.

You can get a nice little payday if you haven’t played GTA Online in a while. This is, of course, in-game money here. But Rockstar Games has taken online to reveal that they are giving away $3,000,000 to players in-game if they come back and enjoy the fun. That might bring some players back and keep them engaged a little longer before we see the next installment emerge.

According to Rockstar Games, you’ll be eligible to receive $3,000,000 if you first haven’t played GTA Online in at least six months. However, you’ll have to go through a few steps to gain the full amount, including becoming a GTA+ member. You can read the full eligibility requirements below. Likewise, you can check out the full breakdown of the offer right here.

GTA Online $3,000,000 Eligibility Requirements

  • Have signed up for a Rockstar Games account
  • Have linked their platform account to their Rockstar Games account
  • Have claimed the offer on https://www.rockstargames.com/gta-online using a linked, qualifying Rockstar Games account
  • Have not signed in to their GTA Online account in the last 60 days
  • Have not been suspended or banned by Rockstar Games at any time
  • Have not already redeemed the offer on the selected Rockstar Games account

You can claim the exclusive offer if you meet all these eligibility requirements. You’ll first receive $1,000,000 in your Maze Bank account, and the rest of the money will arrive about 72 hours afterward.

In other Grand Theft Auto-related news, one modder managed to bring the GTA 6 map to GTA 5. However, it’s uncertain if this mod will last very long. Likewise, there was a recent GTA 5 update for PC players, and it’s believed this update backported a GTA 6 feature.
