There is no shortage of rumors, leaks, and speculation within the video game industry. This is especially true for Nintendo right now. So many fans worldwide are waiting for the company to reveal the next console to succeed the Nintendo Switch. However, we still have no confirmation on when that will happen. Now, one industry insider says to mark your calendars for a grand reveal taking place this January 16, 2025.
A few industry insiders have gained quite a following over their credible track record. One of those is Nate The Hate, who recently posted a new podcast episode on YouTube. During their conversation, they mentioned that Nintendo would reveal the next console to the public on January 16. That’s coming up fast, and with Nintendo typically giving little to no notice on when their presentations are, we might not hear about this upcoming unveiling until potentially January 15, 2025.
Regardless, that’s just days away, and it will finally shed some light on the console and potentially confirm or debunk some of the rumors that have spread online lately. As you know, there have been a lot of them spreading on the web. Still, there is a little more about this claim that Nate The Hate made.
According to the podcast episode, the upcoming reveal will focus only on the actual console hardware. So don’t go in expecting any video game reveals. Instead, if the claim proves to be accurate, Nintendo will only showcase the console and some of its functionality. The actual video games that will be coming out to support the console will be held potentially at the end of February or the start of March.
So, in the meantime, we’ll have to wait and see if Nintendo confirms that a presentation of the new console is in store for us this week.
