The latest Call of Duty leak solidifies the release date, and further confirms that Modern Warfare Remastered is coming too.
This image came via a NeoGAF thread. It was taken directly from whatever source it came from, and it seems unlikely someone would make any sort of fake promo with this amount of detail.
The biggest piece of information revealed here is a release date of November 4th 2016. This would line up alongside the regular schedule of yearly Call of Duty releases. Compared to the leaked Legacy Edition image from a few days ago, enough similarities exist between these two leaks that helps legitimize their validity. Logos are the same on both, and the picture of the same futuristic soldier is used.
According to the poster, the Modern Warfare Remastered game will include the campaign and ten multiplayer maps. Americans shouldn’t have a heart attack at the $79.99 and $109.99 price tags, as those listings appear to be in Canadian dollars and not USD.
Activision is expected to formally the announce the game in the near future. Popular YouTuber ProSyndicate tweeted that the game “is a thing” yesterday, and the official Call of Duty Twitter account used a poop emoji responding to a tweet about the possibility of a remastered game.
