Palworld Keeps Pushing Boundaries With Their Pals Looking Like Pokemon

April 24, 2024 by Faith Lane

They do realize this is a Pokemon right?

Palworld was met with a lot of mixed reviews when it first released as many felt it was too similar to Pokemon, especially considering just how many Pals look just like popular Pokemon players have been for generations. A past Pokemon lawyer even spoke out due to the fact many thought Pokemon was going to sue.

While Palworld has continued to be able to have their success without problem, many are starting to wonder if they are pushing the boundaries as we see even more new Pals look just like Pokemon from the game. Recently, the newest Pal called Foxcicle looks just like a mixture of Glaceon and the Ice version of Alolan Ninetales according to GamesRadar+.

The new Pal takes after the look of a fox with multiple tails and long pieces of what seems to be fur beside its face, which makes it look a lot like Glaceon, especially with the coloring of it too matching up almost exactly. The developers, PocketPair’s CEO spoke out before to also say, “We have absolutely no intention of infringing upon the intellectual property of other companies.”

Fans across social media are now sharing how they realize that this new Pal definitely takes after Pokemon that we know and have seen before, but yet it still isn’t confirmed if Palworld sees what they are doing but surely this cannot just be mishap considering how many Pals look like popular Pokemon.

Palworld is avaliable on PC and Xbox Seris X/S through purchase of Game Pass.
