Until Dawn Remake Screenshots Leak Revealing New Death

February 19, 2024 by Dennis Patrick

Can you survive the night again?

Until Dawn was one of the more cherished horror gameplay experiences from the PlayStation 4. However, the game never made its way on the PC, and it hasn’t been picked up in quite a few years. Instead, the developers responsible for bringing the game out into the marketplace, Supermassive Games, went on to create similar horror experiences for players.

However, it was during the PlayStation State of Play event that we got the unveiling of a Until Dawn remake coming our way. This time around, it’s being handled by a development studio called Ballistic Moon, where they are rebuilding the game and making a few enhancements. Their aim is to give newcomers a terrifying experience and a reason for veteran players to pick this game back up. While the announcement trailer didn’t showcase very much, it was unveiled that there would be new sequences and expansions to the storyline.

We’re still left in the dark officially on what some of these expansions will consist of in the game. We’ll likely get a little more storyline, new areas to explore, and potential death sequences. But on Reddit, there was a post that leaked a few screenshots of the upcoming release. Unfortunately, the screenshots are not high quality, and it doesn’t unveil very much. But it seems like there is a new sequence that involves the character Jess.

It looks like Jess has yet another way that she could potentially perish in this horrifying night. But again, we’ll have to wait for the game to release to see just how things could turn out for Jess. At any rate, we’re still left in the dark on just when we can expect the game to land in the marketplace, as it’s only slated to launch sometime this year.

Just as long as we don’t see a delay announcement Until Dawn’s upcoming remake should have a launch before the 2024 calendar year wraps for both the PlayStation 5 and PC. Depending on how well this upcoming release does, it could mean Ballistic Moon might be given the reigns to bring out a sequel. While Supermassive Games offers other games with a similar gameplay setup, we know the new Until Dawn launch will see some differences, like a new camera setup, which might give this game a completely different feel for players. In the meantime, you can check out the announcement trailer below.
