AEW Fight Forever Gets “Beat The Elite” Mode Via DLC

December 13, 2023 by Todd Black

Can you beat the true Elite?

All Elite Wrestling has had quite the 2023, no matter who you talk to. But one of the biggest things they did was being able to finally release AEW Fight Forever on video game consoles and PC. While it may not have had the biggest video game release ever, it did provide fans of the brand with some fun gameplay content and the chance to become some of their favorite AEW wrestlers to partake in great matches with. True to the company’s promise, they’ve been dishing out seasonal content for fans to partake in and enjoy, and a new mode has arrived for Season 2!

The new mode is titled “Beat the Elite,” and it’ll be a gauntlet of epic proportions. Players will pick their wrestler, and then have to battle ten opponents from the AEW roster. You’ll never know who the ten will be, but when you reach the last match, you’ll have to challenge a member of The Elite. If you don’t know that group, “The Elite” were the ones who helped form All Elite Wrestling alongside Tony Khan.

That means your final match in this mode will either be against one of the Young Bucks, Matt or Nick Jackson, “Hangman” Adam Page, Cody Rhodes, or Kenny Omega. Any one of them would be a trying match on a good day, and considering you have to face off against nine other wrestlers before you even get to The Elite? Yeah, you’ll have your work cut out for you.

However, if you pull it off, you’ll get some special cosmetic items for the game. So fight your heart out and see if you can beat them all!

Beat The Elite DLC has arrived in #AEWFightForever!

In the new, highly competitive Beat the Elite gameplay mode, Fight Forever players will face 10 random #AEW talents. The last match will always be against a wrestler from The Elite. Win all 10 matches & you'll be rewarded with… pic.twitter.com/5ivYj8Kw5Y

Recently, AEW Fight Forever has been adding some new wrestlers for people to play as, including the beloved team, The Acclaimed, and Toni Storm, with more on the way. Plenty of AEW wrestlers still haven’t gotten into the game, so you should be prepared for more announcements to come.

As for what All Elite Wrestling is doing currently, they’re trying to end their 2023 strong via the Continental Classic. The round-robin tournament has put some of their best wrestlers against one another in frequent matches to see who will become the “modern-day Triple Crown Champion.” Fans and critics have enjoyed this tournament immensely.

Plus, on December 30th is “World’s End,” the final AEW PPV of the year! So when you bundle this together, the company is truly swinging for the fences.
