GRYOnline, a huge Polish gaming website that covers CD Projekt Red’s games on the ground (being in the same area and all) has posted a teaser of the upcoming Blood and Wine expansion pack for The Witcher 3. They posted a message on their Facebook to assure readers that “something is happening.”
The site listed the expansion’s release as June 7, 2016. CD Projekt Red has yet to make an official statement confirming the release date, but there’s a good chance that the site is right as it lines up with the previously announced “first half of 2016” release window provided by the developer.
The expansion was originally slated for a Q1 2016 release but later postponed. The studio did not reveal an exact date when they announced the delay.
CD Projekt Red has previously said that the game’s first two expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine are almost the size of The Witcher 2 and offer over 20 hours of gameplay. There’s no word on whether they plan to expand the game further beyond that.
Besides The Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red is also currently working on the futuristic cyberpunk RPG, Cyberpunk 2077.
