While many of you are enjoying a certain title with Mario, and for good reason, it’s important to look forward and see what Nintendo has to offer for its Switch console next. Ironically, there is more Mario on the way. However, sandwiched between the two Mario titles is an “old friend” of Mario…in Wario! Yes, the greedy fool is always doing something, and his next game will drop in early November. WarioWare Move It will continue his fan-favorite franchise, but this time, it’ll bring new heights and levels of microgames for gamers to enjoy, so much so that Nintendo decided to drop an overview trailer highlighting all you can do in it.
The plot revolves around Wario and his friends going to an island for a vacation. The catch is that this island is FULL of microgames that you can participate in. We’re talking over 200 such games! That’s a lot for you to do! Plus, these aren’t just any microgames. They’ll force you to put your whole body into things if you want to win, hence why you have to “move it” to get the job done.
The game will have you focus on not just the game in front of you but the proper “form” you’ll need to take to complete the action. Don’t worry; the game will guide you on which form is best, and then you can move freely in an attempt to complete the task. No matter what, you’ll need to pay attention and think fast if you want to complete every game.
If not obvious, you’ll need to detach your Joy-Cons so you can use them freely in your hands while you do the microgames. If that’s not enough for you, you can also hand off one of the Joy-Cons to a friend so you can do local co-op in the series for the first time! Furthermore, the game will have “boss fights” for you to do as you clear each stage on the island!
While some of you may not be swayed by the “style” or “speed” of this franchise, the series has been incredibly popular over the years, and it’s not the first time Wario’s games have come to Switch like this. So why not give Mario a break and give his rival some time in the spotlight?
WarioWare Move It comes out on November 3rd! So if you want to “move it” like never before, you should try it out!
