Fans Might Have Uncovered Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Next Character

August 14, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Could this be the first DLC expansion?

Disney Dreamlight Valley has been a big hit in the marketplace. While the game launched as an early access title, fans continue to pour in and enjoy the gameplay experience so far from the Gameloft team. The constant addition of new characters, areas, and quests makes this game so much fun for players. With this game centered around Disney, there are plenty of IPs that the developers could bring into the mix. For instance, we know next month, we’re getting the addition of Beauty and the Beast IP. But beyond that, fans might have picked up on some clues about what’s next.

Thanks to a report from Gamerant, we’re finding out that a lengthy thread on Reddit that goes over a series of clues. A Reddit user started to chime in on the different clues found, such as bunnies turning shiny and all the flowers suddenly being painted red because of what is being labeled as a bug by developers. But fans are starting to believe that this might be clues that the next IP to get brought into this video game world will be Alice in Wonderland. Of course, that is also leaving fans to predict that this might be the first DLC to pay for.

It’s believed that these clues are made to build up hype and get fans excited about the content. However, while fans are hyped, this might be the first realm that players might be forced into purchasing. That’s only speculation so far from fans, as we don’t know if Alice in Wonderland will be coming and if this will be paid DLC right now. Still, with as popular as Disney Dreamlight Valley has become, it wouldn’t be surprising to see developers start to bring out content that’s locked behind a paywall.

Of course, we just have to wait and see if this is the case or not. Currently, Disney Dreamlight Valley is available through early access on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. If you haven’t been playing this game, it’s set up as a life simulation experience where players are tossed into this magical world filled with Disney characters. However, a new plague has caused our characters to lose their memories. Players will be helping out this world by cleaning it up, customizing it, and aiding the various characters with their quests.
