Will you be playing some of the classic characters in SF6? Or will yo ube trying some of the new faces? Let us know below!
ORIGINAL STORY
When it comes to fighting games, the biggest question that most players have to answer is, “Who are you going to play as?” Most fighting games have a roster of dozens, which doesn’t include DLC additions, each with their own playstyles. That can make it difficult for you to pick who to play. Even with veteran franchises, the decision isn’t easy, as the publisher often updates movesets so that characters don’t stay stagnant. For the upcoming Street Fighter 6, Capcom has been dropping mini-trailers featuring their fighters to highlight their abilities and help you find the perfect match for your play style.
We’ve already seen videos featuring Ryu and Ken, but Capcom dropped some more featuring other classic personalities over the weekend. The first is E. Honda, the legendary Sumo known for his surprisingly fast moves.
As expected, E. Honda excels at keeping opponents on the ground. He has a medley of moves that can do damage up close, and then if they try to get away, he can rush forward to close the distance and get back to dealing blows. His fast-hitting palm thrusts are back and are the perfect way to set up a combo. Plus, he has throws and body slams that can get the opponent down and not let them up without difficulty.
So if you’re looking to get up close and not let up, E. Honda might be the fighter for you:
Or perhaps you’re looking for someone who can keep your opponents on their toes because they won’t know what you will do next? If so, then check out Dhalsim!
The legendary yoga master has always been a fan favorite, and he’ll be back in all his stretchy glory in Street Fighter 6. Obviously, the biggest plus of Dhalsim is his stretching attacks. He can elongate his body in numerous ways, making it hard for foes to get close. It doesn’t matter if they try to approach on the ground or in the air; Dhalsim can attack with ease if you time it right.
Plus, as an enlightened master, he can do more than just punch. He can spit his famous “Yoga Fire” to break through defenses or teleport up close to start dealing damage right in their face. Dhalsim isn’t your typical fighter, but if you use him correctly, your opponents won’t be able to touch you!
More videos like these will likely come out as we draw closer to the game’s June 2nd release date!
