Alienware has put out a press release about its plans to launch what it calls the world's smallest gaming PC. Based on the mini-ITX motherboard, the X51 carries a low-ish price tag of $699 and comes equipped with a Core i3-2120 CPU, 4GB RAM, 1TB hard drive, and a relatively okay nVidia GT 545 graphics card.
It also comes with WiFi, HDMI, and two USB 3.0 ports for high speed connectivity.
Being about as bare as a Mac Mini, it doesn't include a mouse, keyboard, or a monitor. But for that price, you could do much worse.
