Lady Characters Finally Allowed To Be Hot in Kingdoms of Amalur: The Reckoning

January 19, 2012 by Kiala Kazebee

Lady characters can actually look good in Kingdoms of Amalur. Imagine that!

Female characters always get the short end of the stick looks-wise in RPGs, am I right?

Seriously, it took me FOUR HOURS to make my Skyrim elf look less like a deranged serial killer and more like a – well like an elf. And don't even get me started on my Femshep. I'd finally figure out a facial configuration that did not make her look like post race car accident Mark Hamill and then she'd start moving around in game and BOOM! Freakshow.

So after seeing this tweet from Veronica Belmont I had high hopes for the KOA:TR demo and I was not disappointed. In fact, I wish I could make this face my preset for all games forever. Yes, she's a wee bit Megan Fox-ish with Winona Ryder's hair but since when is that bad? Never. Ever.

Oh and the (FREE!) demo was pretty fun to play, too, if you care about that sort of thing.
