If you've been playing Battlefield 3 recently, you'll know how much of a problem cheaters have become to the game. Less like a pest and more of a pleague, cheaters spoil the online game by claiming headshot after headshot and ruin what should be an enjoyable experience.
In response to widespread complaints (on Reddit, the official forums, Twitter and elsewhere), DICE has introduced new measures to make it easier for honest players to report suspected cheaters.
Players can now visit the pages of suspected cheaters and report them of cheating by clicking on a yellow triangle icon. Players will be given the opportunity to describe how they believed the alleged cheater did his dirty deeds and moderators will take action by either resetting their stats or banning them outright, depending on the gravity of their actions.
DICE has posted up further details on their blog.
