There is no shortage of samurai games out in the marketplace. But we’re not complaining here, as we’re always up for a new thrilling samurai experience. One of the games to hit the marketplace last year with plenty of fanfare was Trek To Yomi. This side-scrolling action game was a hit when it initially launched on console and PC platforms in 2022. However, the game missed out on a release for the Nintendo Switch. Now it looks like the game is heading to the Nintendo hybrid console platform this month.
We have good news if you wanted to try Trek To Yomi but were only on a Nintendo Switch platform. A new listing was uncovered today on the Japanese Nintendo eShop, which highlights that Trek To Yomi is coming on January 31, 2023. That should allow plenty of players to give this game a go. Of course, if you haven’t been keeping tabs on this game, we have you covered. As mentioned, this is a side-scrolling action game that was set during the Edo period of feudal Japan. Players are taking the role of a young swordsman who finds his home village was attacked. With nothing left but the burned remains of the village, players begin their quest to seek revenge.
The game was released initially back in May of 2022. When the game was released, players could pick up Trek To Yomi for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms. So with the game finally hitting the Nintendo Switch platform, it seems just about all the major platforms are covered. That is unless we start seeing this game land on mobile platforms like iOS and Android, but so far, nothing has been unveiled on that front quite yet. Fortunately, we had already covered this game when it was previously released into the marketplace.

With that said, this coverage is on the game when it initially launched and might not exactly represent the title experience when it launches on the Nintendo Switch console platform.
