The release of Max Payne 3 isn't a terribly long way off, and with its impending release, Rockstar has put out a number of new screenshots taken from the game's multiplayer mode.
Multiplayer is a first for the Max Payne franchise, so it'll be curious to see how the developers intend to implement Max's signature bullet time move into the action. It may well be something like FEAR's slow-motion shootouts.
According to Rockstar, "Max Payne 3's multiplayer aims to deliver a compelling experience that dynamically alters maps and mode progression for all players in a map," perhaps hinting at a destruction system similar to DICE's Battlefield 3.
"Along with traditional multiplayer modes, Max Payne 3 will also include a deep reward and levelling system, persistent clans and multiple strategic load-out options."
Max Payne 3 will be released on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 this coming March.
