When it comes to Fortnite, fans have known for some time that they’re supposed to “expect the unexpected” with Epic Games. The company has made a lot of money off its title, and they know that as long as they keep providing meaningful content, things will continue to go well for them. What has impressed people, though, is the reach that they’ve shown in getting a large variety of characters from franchises that you might not expect to see in the title. They’ve gotten superheroes, anime characters, pop stars, and more. But now the question is, “Could Family Guy be next?”
That is not a random question we’re asking. Back in 2021, some files were found that seemed to tie to the adult cartoon and were teased to come into the game possibly. The codename for these assets was “French Fry.” Fast forward to now, and those assets are apparently still being worked on and thus could appear in the game in the future. That would mean that at least some of the Family Guy crew could appear in Fortnite.
We won’t detail the animated series for you, but let’s just say that it’s known for its dark humor and for pushing the boundaries of what can be on television. It also has a history of being canceled and revived, making it all the more popular.
If the show’s main characters, or at least some of them, were to make it into the Epic Games title, it would cause a stir. Many would be in shock that such a franchise would make it into the game, and others would race in to see who they could play and what they could do with them.
More than likely, two characters that will be playable are Peter and Stewie. These are the two biggest fan-favorite characters, and you could have a lot of fun with their animations, sounds, and more. Also, with most packs that bring in other characters not only bring in skins but also special emotes, items, and sometimes abilities to further showcase the characters and their world. Such as when Goku and crew showed up, you could do the Kamehameha.
If Peter were to show up, they might likely give him his famous skate-dancing moves for an emote. Or have Stewie shout, “Victory is mine!”
We’re not sure what “abilities” they could take from the show and put into Fortnite, but we’ve been surprised by what they’ve put in before!
