A few of the developers of STALKER are back in the game (as in, the game industry) with an all new FPS they describe as a “hardcore story-driven MMO.” It’s like The Division meets STALKER.
The game is set in the city of Tarkov, which is a bit like STALKER‘s Pripyat. It’s controlled and overrun by PMCs and bandits who are vying for dominance. The game is an FPS first and foremost, but contains elements of RPGs in the same way The Division does. There’s an inventory system and players can loot new pieces of equipment and weapons to outfit themselves with.
We put together a video showcasing the game and all we know about it at the present, demonstrating various elements of the game and its strong FPS gameplay, which looks just as good, if not better than STALKER.
